Key Responsibilities
Student safety & supervision: Patrol assigned areas; supervise students’ free time; handle issues promptly; ensure quiet and orderly routines. Dorm routines: Implement quiet time, lights-out procedures, and overnight inspections; ensure students sleep safely and appropriately. Attendance & reporting: Take evening attendance/roll call; follow missing-student procedures; conduct morning housekeeping inspections; report incidents and concerns. Meals & wellbeing: Guide/monitor students during meals; remind about meal cards and dining rules; support students needing medication to go to clinic; follow up on health status. Study hall/program support (as assigned): Welcome students, take attendance, support homework/learning routines, provide guidance, and coordinate with staff when needed. Parent communication & administration: Use Seesaw / Teams / email / working phone to share updates and respond to parent messages; complete weekly reports/forms and safety documentation. Returning-to-school support (Sunday/Monday mornings): Prepare rooms (safety/AC/forms), register back-to-school items, guide unpacking/organization, and supervise safety during initial activities. Additional Duties (as assigned) Collect/verify access credentials (e.g., green codes/tracking codes) for weekend entry. Assist with lost items and check CCTV when necessary. Provide translation support for PTC when needed.
Qualifications / Requirements Strong responsibility, patience, and safety awareness. Ability to maintain structured routines and supervise students effectively. Good communication skills for parents and internal teams. Willingness/ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight duty and weekends.
